About Me
I’m a Christian, a wife, a mom. I have three beautiful daughters and a loving husband who bring much joy to my life. I love creating, traveling, relaxing at home with my family, and being involved in my church.
My Ultimate Journey One Eighty
I’ve been on many journeys throughout my life. I’ve been on paths of visiting new places,
of finding home in new cities,
of becoming a parent,
of parenthood,
of heartache,
of forgiveness,
of friendship,
of marriage,
of love.
I’m walking down some of these roads now. Some parts are full of sunshine and happiness. Some parts are dark and lonely. The blessing of the good and the bad parts is that they lead to growth. They lead to change. The person we are at the beginning is not exactly the same person we are at the end. We gain experience, wisdom, knowledge, and our eyes are opened a little bit more to the big picture of our lives.
The beginning of my ultimate journey began when I became a Christian.
When I was seven years old, I decided I wanted to follow Jesus. I had sin in my life, even at that age, and I needed God’s forgiveness. I knew I wanted to have Him with me in my heart all the time and that I wanted to be able to live with Him forever when I die. With the help of a special lady, I prayed and asked God to forgive me, told Him I believed that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and told Him that I wanted Him to be the boss of my life. That was the most important decision I’ve ever made.
Following Jesus is my ultimate journey. Through every step of each season, He has been my only true source of hope, joy, and love. He took my life that was walking in darkness and brought me into His light. He took my life of being bound by sin and changed it to a life of freedom, forgiveness, and grace.
He will do that for you too.
My life is far from perfect, but I know that I have his mercy, love, peace, and forgiveness that have and will help me through any situation that may come my way.
Following Jesus is the biggest part of who I am and my journey with Him is the one that is intertwined through all the pieces of the rest of my life, and He is always with me even in the darkest of days.
Through my journeys abroad and my journeys at home I want to follow Him and share the love, joy, hope, and peace with those around me. Not because I’m good, but because He is good.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. - 2 Corinthians 5:17
