Days 92 to 95 | Snow, School, and Siblings
Days 92-95, March 30-April 2, Brasov—The days are really starting to run together. We’ve been at home almost the entire week and generally sticking to the routine we started last week. It really has been good for us all to establish routines during this time. It allows us to be more productive and there is less conflict. Notice I said “less conflict” not “no conflict.” 😉
Through a time of dealing with uncertainty, worry, fear, and disappointment it always helps to look at the good coming from the trials. So, here are some good things that have happened in our week so far.
We had a beautiful snow! And we didn’t have to get out in it! It’s always nice to watch the snow fall through the windows and know you can stay nice and cozy inside!
We have continued our routine we started last week. On Wednesday, we got thrown off and didn’t really do it, but we started back the next day:)
The girls and I finished watching the “Sibling Challenge” videos from notconsumed.com. They were so helpful! The girls jumped to doing their homework assignments everyday and I really think it’s helped them be more mindful of how they treat each other. They’ve learned about what the Bible says about loving, serving, sharing with, forgiving, and witnessing to their siblings. The videos are still up if you want to watch!
Nathan has had more time to work on his projects:)
We had an impromptu lesson review on “the birds and the bees” as we saw two cats mating right outside the living room window. Don’t worry...there are no pictures of that:)
I’ve had some time to work on a project that I will (hopefully) be sharing with you soon!
We played a really fun game of Pictionary.
God’s Word is always good too! The best!
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
