Days 157 to 159 | The Next Few Days

The next few days we relaxed, did a little shopping, and got accustomed to getting the kids out with masks.

Somehow I have a knack for breaking dishes, usually while I’m washing them. I’ve broken four if the six drinking glasses at our apartment so we headed out to find some replacements.

This was the first time we would all go shopping together since before Coronavirus, so we had to prepare everyone with masks for the first time. It wasn’t super exciting for the girls, but they were pretty good sports.

The area we stayed in was the old part of Brasov, so it felt unusual to see bigger city buildings!

Along the way…it was hot outside but the girls still wanted to wear their fleeces.

This building had colored tiles making a design. I thought it was pretty cool!

We made it to our destination which was about two miles from our apartment. Four of the five of us were happy. The fifth person…not too happy to have to be out today.

We didn’t find the glasses we were looking for, but we got a few clothing items for warmer weather.

It felt really nice to do a more normal thing together and to see a new part of town!

We created an origami pet store stocked with frogs, birds…

…puppy dogs…

…and turtles.

It’s so nice to be able to play there again!
