Day 62 | The National Museum of Contemporary Art

Day 62, Bucharest, Romania—One really nice thing about walking to places is that we run into parks, playgrounds and other fun surprises along the way. Today we found three playgrounds on the way to check out the Palace of Parliament. The girls are always happy about that!

As you can see the Palace of Parliament is huge! All four sides of the building look like it could be the front. It’s so big that it holds at least two museums, lots of offices, and hosts events, etc. But about seventy percent of the building is still empty.

Today we visited one of those museums in the Palace, the National Museum of Contemporary Art. I can be skeptical of contemporary art museums, but the art here was fun, lighthearted, and perfect for kids too.
