Day 167 | The Botanical Garden in Bucharest

Experiencing spring in a new country is one thing I really looked forward to doing on our trip. I wanted to smell the fresh air and see the colorful flowers and walk into the season of new life and growth. We’ve been able to do just that. During our stay in Romania, we’ve seen an amazingly beautiful spring season and I’m very thankful for that.

Visiting the Botanical Garden in Bucharest added to the beauty that we’ve seen this spring. Along with watching baby ducklings swim in ponds and following paths through pretty landscape, we walked through the beautiful rose garden that was in full bloom. I had never seen so many roses in one place. They were absolutely beautiful.

After seeing the botanical garden, we ate lunch at Caru ca Bere, had gelato in Old Town (some of my favorite from our whole trip), then enjoyed the evening at home.

It was a great day and our last day to get out and explore Bucharest!
