Day 16 | Musee d’Orsay

Day 16, Paris—Our main stop today was the Musee d’Orsay then we went home early for a relaxing night at home. I still feel like we aren’t on a great schedule. We all have a hard time going to sleep at night, then we sleep late in the mornings and continue the cycle. I’m a little nervous about leaving on a plane (to Austria) at 10:00 am on Saturday😯. We are trying each day to scoot our schedule a little earlier, so hopefully by then we will be able to be out the door by 7:00. In the meantime, we will keep exploring!

Musee d’Orsay—This museum was a train station from 1900-1939, was partly a mail station during World War 2, then was planned to be demolished until they decided to turn it into an art museum. It opened as an art museum in 1986 and is now the home of mostly French Art dated from 1848-1914. It holds art from some well known artists like Claude Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Degas, and many others.

We stopped to have a yummy snack during our visit too! So thankful to be doing this with my favorite people!
