Day 3 | New Year’s Day in London

Day 3, London—Happy New Year’s Day! Today was special not only because it was the first of the year, but because we got to spend time with a friend from home! Our children’s director from church is in London this week and she had some time to spend with us! It was a treat for us all, especially for the girls who seemed to really enjoy a taste of home in a new place.

We went to the London New Year’s Day Parade (our friend’s daughter was in it), ate, and walked around the city together. I’m so thankful for good friends and the fact that God knew our paths would be crossing—all the way around the world at the same time...only He would have come up with that! What a gift!

Also, thank you for your prayers! We are still getting adjusted to the new time zone, but everyone has been sleeping through the night! Yay!
