Day 45 | Basilica of Santa Sabina

Day 45, Rome—We are about a fourth of the way through our trip! I can’t believe we’ve already made it this far and we still have so much to look forward to!

Today we went to the Basilica of Santa Sabina. It is a church that was completed around 432 AD and was named after a woman, Sabina, who was beheaded after she converted to Christianity.

I really like how this building seemed to still have its old feeling, rather than being fixed up with new decorations over time.
