Day 10 | Anna’s Half Birthday and Last Day in London

London, Day 10—Today was our last day here. We took it easy most of the day...relaxing in our room and beginning to pack up. It’s amazing how big of a mess you can make when five people are living in the same room.

We did make it out to dinner for pizza again, then went to St. Paul’s Cathedral for the Evensong service.

The service was filled with scripture, prayers, and scripture sung by the choir. We even recited the Apostles Creed. Although the service was different than what I’m used to, the recitation and hearing scripture sung this way lead me to worship Jesus....there is something special about reading truth together and listening to scripture being sung word for word. It was beautiful!

Only one of us, Naomi, is going to have a birthday while we are traveling, so we decided to celebrate half birthdays for everyone. Today was Anna’s! So we picked up a treat on the way home and ate and played Nerts.

In the morning we have to get up early to catch a train to Paris. Prayers for safe travels are appreciated! We’ve had a great time in London and we’re a bit sad to leave, but look forward to what is to come.
